PCT Training
Training and Events
Building confidence, capability and connection across the sector is central to improving palliative care outcomes in Tasmania.
PCT delivers a range of training and events designed to support health professionals, carers, community members and organisations to better understand, navigate and provide palliative care. From practical skill-building to system-wide conversations, our programs are grounded in real experience and tailored to the needs of Tasmanians.
Our training focuses on equipping people with the knowledge, language and confidence to have meaningful conversations about death, dying and end-of-life care. This includes supporting earlier engagement with palliative care, improving care planning, and strengthening the capacity of services across health, aged care and community settings.
Our events bring people together. We create space for learning, collaboration and shared understanding across sectors, connecting clinicians, service providers, policymakers and the community. These conversations are critical to driving improvement, innovation and reform.
Whether you are a professional seeking to build your skills, an organisation looking to strengthen your workforce, or a community member wanting to better support someone you care about, PCT’s training and events provide practical, relevant and accessible pathways to learn, connect and take action.
