Partners in Palliative Care

The Partners in Palliative Care (PIPC) Reference Group brings together organisations from across Tasmania to strengthen collaboration, advocacy and shared learning in palliative and end-of-life care.

The network includes more than 70 members representing over 50 organisations statewide, spanning aged care, disability services, multicultural communities, LGBTIQA+ networks, homelessness services and sector peak bodies.

By connecting organisations working across health and community services, Partners in Palliative Care helps ensure that diverse perspectives inform policy, system design and service delivery across Tasmania’s palliative care system.

Partners in Palliative Care meets quarterly, providing a forum for organisations to share insights, raise emerging issues and collaborate on solutions that affect the people and communities they support. Meetings also provide opportunities for shared learning and knowledge exchange, with guest speakers delivering focused education sessions.

Insights and information shared through the network are fed into the Palliative Care Clinical Network, helping ensure that community and sector perspectives contribute to clinical planning and broader system development.
