End-of-Life Ecosystem:The Power of Connection
The Palliative Care Tasmania 2026 Conference, End of Life Ecosystem: The Power of Connection, brings together the state’s palliative care workforce, educators and sector partners for a targeted two-day event focused on capability, collaboration and action. The theme recognises that palliative care is an interconnected ecosystem shaped by clinical skill, community insight, cultural knowledge and the lived experiences of people navigating serious illness, dying, death, grief and bereavement.
Tasmania’s need is accelerating. Demand for palliative care is rising sharply, workforce capability must grow, and the complexity of grief within families and communities is intensifying. This event is designed to drive that shift by strengthening relationships across the system and connecting the people who influence practice, policy and service design.
The theme End-of-Life Ecosystem: The Power of Connection, recognises that palliative care is shaped by the strengths and relationships across the system. Clinical practice, community insight, cultural knowledge, aged care capability and lived experience all influence how Tasmanians navigate serious illness, dying, death, grief and bereavement.
This two-day event brings together the palliative care workforce across specialist, generalist, community and aged care settings. The goal is to strengthen capability, collaboration and system connections at a time when demand is rising and workforce capacity is under pressure.
Your contribution will help shape the future of Tasmania’s end of life ecosystem.
