Thank you for your interest in joining or rejoining Palliative Care Tasmania. To become a member or renew your membership, please follow the instructions provided on the forms available on this page. Your membership is highly valued as it enables us to carry out our crucial work together.

If you are already a member, kindly complete the required forms for rejoining to ensure your membership for the upcoming financial year. By doing so, you will continue to support our ongoing efforts.

For individuals or organisations who wish to join us for the first time, we encourage you to apply today for the 2023/24 financial year. By becoming a member, you will contribute to our shared mission and have the opportunity to participate in our initiatives.

  • A monthly e-newsletter, which includes short up-to-date items on research, policies, conferences, employment opportunity, media coverage, information about our political engagement and relevant information.

  • Discounted registration to Palliative Care Tasmania workshops, seminars, conferences, and forums.

  • Advocacy and representation to Government on priorities and issues related to palliative care and end of life care.
  • The ability to contribute to state and national palliative care policies and strategies.
  • Certificate of palliative care membership.

Membership Types

Individual Memberships

Individual membership is to open to anyone with an interest in palliative care and who would like to support the sector including community members, volunteers, carers, students, politicians, policy makers and consumers.

Professional membership has been introduced to support the professional development of those working in palliative care across the sector.

This membership is for volunteers, carers, students, and those community members that support the work of the palliative care sector.

This membership is for health care professionals and those working across the community and health care sectors, delivering services or support. This is also suitable for those wanting to transition into areas of palliative care across the sector.

Organisational Memberships

Membership is available for any organisation that has an interest in palliative care. We have partnerships and relationships with organisations across the sector, including aged care, allied health, community services. We support, connect and facilitate collaboration.
Organisation membership entitles the nominated representative to one vote at meetings, and it entitles two people from the organisation to a member discount at conferences.

Service Providers & Non-for-profits organisations who want to support the palliative care sector
