End-of-life doulas
End-of-life doulas, also known as death doulas, are a growing feature of the palliative care environment in Australia. Palliative care peak advocacy bodies are being approached by palliative care services, health professionals, patients and their families, seeking more information about end-of-life doulas and how they operate in Australia.
This Factsheet and Questions and Answer Sheet were developed after substantial consultation with key stakeholders to meet this demand for information about end-of-life-doulas.
