RE: CEO Resignation
Dear members, stakeholders and supporters,
I am reaching out today to let you know that Colleen Johnstone has resigned as CEO of Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT) and the Board has accepted her resignation.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Colleen for her tenure, and we gratefully acknowledge her 8 years at the helm of PCT.
Colleen has been pivotal in the growth and transformation of the organisation. She has developed a strong and dedicated team that has ensured Palliative Care Tasmania is an influential peak body, responsive to the needs of the health and community sectors, to the Tasmanian community and to our funders.
Colleen will leave Palliative Care Tasmania in a strong position and with the best wishes of her colleagues and the sector.
Colleen’s last day will be the 17th of April 2023, she will be on leave until that time.
The Board would like to announce the appointment of Venéy Hiller as Acting CEO. Venéy is a senior member of the organisation, well known to our sector, members and funders and will lead PCT through this transition period.
Venéy can be contacted via email at any time veney.hiller@pct.org.au
Yours sincerely,
Sally Faulkner
Chair, Palliative Care Tasmania
