About Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT)

What is PCT?

We are the voice for palliative care in Tasmania, advocating, educating and connecting so that no one faces dying, death or grief alone.

Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT) is the peak body for palliative and end of life care, grief, loss and bereavement care in Tasmania.

We are the frontline provider of non-clinical education, community engagement and advocacy. We work across community, health services, government and lived experience to strengthen access to quality palliative care for every Tasmanian, regardless of age, diagnosis or postcode.

Because palliative care is not just about dying.
It is about living well, right to the end.

We do not deliver clinical care.
We strengthen the system that delivers it.

Our work is informed by lived experience, guided by evidence and grounded in collaboration.

We invite you to explore our website and resources or contact us for support and more information.
