Circle of Support
Palliative and End Of Life Care Menu
You don’t have to do it alone – family, friends and services can help.
Whether you’re the person living with a life-limiting illness or condition, or the person caring for someone with this type of illness, managing from day to day can feel challenging.
Building a circle of support can help you feel less overwhelmed by your illness and more confident in managing your life. The people around you can provide emotional, practical and sometimes even financial help.
Encourage your carer to build their circle of support too. Sharing the load is important for helping them to balance life between focusing on you and managing your illness, and their commitments to other people, work or study.
